PlanetChristmas All Things Christmas (ATC) 2009

It's a different kind of PlanetChristmas gathering this year in Louisville.  Since economic times are tight we're having a back-to-basics event called "All Things Christmas" centered around the Hyatt Regency in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.  And the best part is it's free!

Weather permitting, we'll get a head start Friday night and do a short cruise on the Belle of Louisville Riverboat (right below the Galt House hotel.)  Show up at the dock at 6:30pm and buy a ticket. 

We'll get underway Saturday morning in a meeting room at the Hyatt about 10:00.  Watch for more details here. 

Saturday evening we'll walk about half a block at celebrate at Fourth Street Live.

PLUS2009 is surrounded by hotels and you can't really go wrong in the downtown Louisville area.  We have reserved room blocks at some nearby hotels strictly as a convenience to PLUS attendees.  The properties have offered some discounted rooms to sweeten the deal a bit but there's nothing kicked back to the PLUS event. 

The Hyatt is directly across the street from where PLUS is located in the KICC meaning you walk across a sky bridge and you're there.  The Marriott is also across the street but on the other side of the KICC so you'll have to walk a couple hundred extra yards.  The Galt House overlooks the Ohio River and is a very easy walk to the convention center

What about 2010?  We're waiting until the economy improves.
