Chris Palmer, This was my first attempt of our Synchronized Christmas light display at our home in Katy, Texas. We even used a FM transmitter to make the experience even better and was a HUGE hit in our neighborhood and even made the local news. For our first set up we used a 16 channel light controller that we bought as a kit and built ourselves and included an FM transmitter so that everyone could enjoy the shows from the comfort of their own vehicle. We have plans in the making for an even bigger and better show! Katy Texas

MUSIC, MOTION, AND MERRIMENT - - Newport Beach, California is home of the annual "Christmas Boat Parade", known as one of the ten best Christmas viewing events in the country. This award-winning house, located on Balboa Island in the middle of the Newport Harbor, is viewed by thousands of visitors who came by car, by foot, and by boat!

No wonder so many people stop to gaze at the lighted wonderland. There is animated action galore. While Christmas carols play in the background, "snow" drifts from the rooftop dispensed from a manufactured snow machine. On the rooftop, Santa waves from a chopper with rotating blades and a gingerbread man jumps on a lighted trampoline. Lighted wheels rotate on a choo-choo train; a tin soldier drums his drums; a snowman tips his hat; a gyrating Santa Claus dances; and even an illuminated Hula Dancer' wiggles back and forth!

The house is anchored on one side by an eye-stopping 25 foot green blinking Christmas tree. On the other side the eight foot wide chimney is draped in a carpet of red lights inter-mixed with white lights that vertically spell "Balboa Island". Blinking candy canes, stockings, bells, and snowflakes all add to the fun. There are 24,000 light bulbs in all

There are over 140,000 lights and I use 10 LOR 16 channel controllers to run all the lights. there is a garden railroad in my front yard with all Christmas trains on it. Back again for 2011 nockerts christmas lights is in its forth year of lighting. We have added an additional 20,000 lights to bring the grand total to 80,000 plans were in the works to go animated this year but we found out we are expecting our first child just in time for christmas. Very exciting, so we will have to wait for that until next year. The website is totally free (and totally fun) and raises awareness for Celiac Disease; which is something my kids have. Ricky Thames Greetings from Midland, Texas! This is Ricky and Lucy Thames 2011 Christmas display. This is my 14th year of decorating and my ninth year on Planet Christmas. Below are a few statistics of this year's display: Lights - 66,804; Amps - 240.71; (Animation - 176.15 amps peak, Static - 64.56 amps) Installation time - 127.75 hours; Building new decorations - 128 1/2 hours; Designing, planning, sequencing and music - 50 hours; Extension cords - 307; Length of extension cords - 6,578 feet; Watts - 28,885; Timers - 11; Three way taps - 76; Spotlights - 14; Strobe lights - 145; Circuits - 18; LOR units - 12 (155 channels); Cat 5E cable - 549 feet. I started putting out the lights on September 23rd and had the grand lighting on Thanksgiving night. New in my display this year is a 10 foot light ring tower, 2 - 10 foot red mini-mega trees, rock-in ruddy wireframe, wall of lights consisting of 111 strands of lights, red and green strobes and new music. This is the 5th year we are collecting canned goods for the local Soup Kitchen. We have a lot of traffic every night looking at our display and taking pictures and video. Jeffrey Holmes After a one-year hiatus, we're proud to be creating a musical spectacular in our home town of Clayton, Ca!  This time we have returned to our roots, where we created our very first light show nearly 6 years ago! This new show is called "Elements" and features stunning and vivid RGB floodlights that transform the facade of this historical building into a plethora of dancing color. Naturally, we started with light, but in future years, we plan to add other elements into the production including water, fire, and air.
