  • That big, jolly man in the red suit with a white beard didn’t always look that way. Prior to 1931, Santa was depicted as everything from a tall gaunt man to a spooky-looking elf. He has donned a bishop's robe and a Norse huntsman's animal skin. When Civil War cartoonist Thomas Nast drew Santa Claus for Harper's Weekly in 1862, Santa was a small elflike figure who supported the Union. Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years, changing the color of his coat from tan to the red he’s known for today.

    I used the cool white this season with light o Rama and they look great I had many compliments on how bright they were I got about 60 more boxes @75% I paid under a dollar each

    I'm the one that told big J A friend of mine works for Home Depot and they will match competitor prices and promotions even the 11% mail in rebate when they have it but you have to ask for the mail in rebate.

This is my first year with lightorama and I'm already thinking of next year display here's what I got today from a lady that her husband used to do a light show for 4th of July Halloween and Xmas i guess he's not with her anymore I did not asked why but looks like he put a lot of time on the props especially on the flag he made on a table I had to take everything home might go back for the rat Halloween faces. I was too late for the controllers since she sold them on e-bay. She just told me to give her what I wanted i gave her $75 just on the extension alone is worth it.
