re-PLUS 2009 is surrounded by hotels so  you can't really go wrong in the downtown Louisville area.  We have reserved room blocks at some nearby hotels strictly as a convenience to our attendees.  The properties have offered some discounted rooms to sweeten the deal a bit but there's nothing kicked back to the re-PLUS event. 

The Hyatt Regency Louisville is our command center and centrally located to all pre and post events.  The Marriott is just down the block.  The Galt House overlooks the Ohio River and is a very easy walk to the Hyatt.

You are certainly not obligated to stay at a recommended hotel and there are quite a few in the area (hint:  look closely at the area map.)  All we ask is that you mention PlanetChristmas during the reservation/check-in progress so we can keep track of where you are staying.  This will help us at future events; providing the types of hotel rooms you prefer and to secure better rates.

If you decide to not stay close to the where our event is being held, you can always drive into town and park in the public parking garages (which are running $10 per day.)  You can also pursue public bus transportation by checking TARC.  Some hotels offer shuttle services into downtown Louisville.
