I've decided this year to buy a simple chase controller for $15 (actually gonna buy a few) and then will have to commit far fewer LOR channels. -Louie

The same place Richard is getting the snowflakes from:

https://ssl.adhost.com/noveltylights/merchant.cfm?pid=306&step=4

They are four channel, four socket for $19 each or $13 in quantities above five. They are only 100W, but if you are using them like I am planning (and sort of like Richard is), only one snowflake will be on at once. Most of these snowflakes are around 60W to 80W.
