Deadlines are deadlines and they exist for a reason. First and foremost, it helps those of us that abide by the rules of the game to plan our display construction around the anticipated delivery date of the component pieces.

Kevin is doing this because he's a nice guy. People that don't respect the deadline are not returning the favor.

If you miss the deadline, you can just buy your lights at regular price from one of the other fine vendors around here. Why should the rest of us bear the burden of delayed delivery just because of a few procrastinators?

As Paul Sessel says "NO WHINING!" ;)

Uh, he DID set the original deadline. It's not up to us to abuse his hospitality.

I'm not being cranky or "snarky". I'm just stating the facts as I see them. :)

If he wants to extend the deadline that's fine.

I was just pointing out that he is going to a lot of effort for us and we shouldn't abuse the priviledge.

Just a quick question from those that have used them before...

Would it be reasonable to assume that if you were making up lighting "units" (all colors in one enclosure for a wall wash) that using 2 blues, 2 reds, and 1 green would give you somewhat equal light output for each color?

Making my mind up quickly here... ;)

OK Folks the cutoff has come and gone.

Here's the good news. I have everyone's order for Red, Green and Blue.

The bad news is there were not enough quantity requested for Yellow, so

no yellows will be ordered. Sorry :?

IDID get enough requests for Warm White but the requests went over

the 100 mark but not enough to get 200. So I'm going to ask for volunteers

that wanted Warm White to either cancel their Warm Whites or substitute

Cool Whites. One problem here is that there are not enough extra Cool

Whites to cover the requested Warm Whites (5 short). Does this make sense?

Anyway, If I don't hear from folks volunteering to work this out I'll have to go

with first come first served.

OK - Now I'll start collecting Names, Addresses and any preferred shipping

method. I will usethe good ol' USPS unless you say otherwise. So send me

a PM with that info. I expect product to show up in about a month but it usually

takes a month to get everyones info.

Thanks

What are the running totals so far? In other words, how short/long are we on Warm/Cool to hit the 100-bulb increments? If a few dozen of us are willing to buy a Warm White or two (just to try them out), certainly we could bump up to the next increment?

Anybody?

Thanks for the idea Tony but it think it would just drag this thing out.

Here's the total requested quantities if you're interested:

476 Red

471 Green

458 Blue

277 CW

128 WW (72 short of 200)

51 different orders

Of course this doesn't include anyone who might cancel or change their order.

No one did in GBII.

Kevin

Kevin,

You might want to start a new thread on the info needed (unless I missed it somewhere else). I just bumped into it hereto see what was going on here and almost overlooked your request.

Just a thought,

Tom

The MR16's have shipped from China.

They should hit my place by the end of next week unless customs does

something funny again like thinking a MR16 is some sort assault weapon.

I told them to label them "light bulbs" but thatmay have been lost in the translation.

I'll be PMing those who have not sent me their address yet .

I can hear it now...

"Tank you velly much, Mr. Kevin! We get you thousands ofwhite bulls in shipping container right away! Not to worry about customs!"

We'll be lucky if we all don't serve time for this! ;)
