Jeffrey 0
We are supposed to get 8" to 14" over the next 24 hours and it actually looks like we are going to get it. I'm a bit bummed because I was supposed to have today off of work but there was a mix up in allotted vacation days, so that was a no-go. I *LOVE* playing in the snow. I love playing with the kids. I love snow blowing. I love plowing. I love... *gasp* shoveling even. I love just lying back and catching snow flakes in my mouth with my kids. Can't wait to see what the lights look like tonight. I have a feeling I may have to put the candy canes and mini-trees on top of the snow tomorrow morning. Have a great weekend all, Jeff
cenote 0
Hope you are not as disappointed as I am....Down in NW of Phila, suppose to have gotten lots of ice and sleet, nothing but rain here. Was out at 3:00am waiting for something, nothing happened.
Jeffrey 0
It just started when I originally posted that and we already have 3" to 4" of snow on the ground. I put the overalls on as well as the boots... I'm ready for work to be done now thank you! -Jeff p.s. We received a bunch of that ice/icy snow last week... I took some pictures of the lights under it here... http://www.mainelights.org/Christmas2008IceStorm
Chris in Ct 0
It just started here about an hour ago and it's really coming down. The ground was covered within 30 minutes. I was out moving my giant C-9 pathway lights away from the road so the plows don't ruin them. The plow driver was great last year about not burying my stuff, but who knows if it's the same driver this year? I have to remember to get him a gift if he does a good job this year again. rangebob 0
You can send some of it this way. We are at 80 degrees right now. It feels like summer again so I wish winter would actually arrive here and stay.

You can sit up here in the cold and shovel while I stay at your place and go fishing everyday in my shorts.

rangebob 0
I'll pass on that offer Chris. I dont' want to have to do the constant shoveling of that heavy wet snow. I did enough of that when I was in the Army in Germany. I should be heading up that way in about a month to Stamford to visit my brother. I hope there is some snow fall while me and the boys are there.
