Joseph Ayo 0
My husband Richard and I will be hosting the Spring Mini and we would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in this exciting event. We are conveniently located about 4 miles from the intersection of I-4 and I-75. Many hands on working displays are being planned for this event as well as the new Wow Me Mega Tree. We have a couple of acres that can be utilized so if there is a component of your display you would like to bring and share please let me know. The layout is still in the planning stages and there is still plenty of room. Everyone is welcome so please put the Mini on your calendars. If you need further information or would like to be on the FLPC mailing list just send me a PM with your email and I'll gladly add you. Rest assured that we will not share your information without permission. Hope to see you there. OK better late then never, I have a large palm tree collection and the freeze made me a super big amount of work to do removing mountains of frozen palm leaves and at the same time as Christmas take down. I havent been on planetchristmas I dont think since the light show closed for the season and I cant believe I almost missed it. I will definately be there, where is at at? I am intriqued, I have a very large yard but not 2 acres, your place sounds FANTASTIC already! Do you have a web page, I wouldnt mind checking out your display when its "in season". razlfratz 8
My brother and I just do basically static displays, but we would like to attend if that Saturday is not my scheduled Saturday to work. Generally work every other Saturday, but do not have the April schedule as yet. So please put me down, tentatively, for 2 attending. Thanks

Kevin Ash 0
I think there are rules about Canadians attending. Sorry about the Olympic Hockey but meeting you makes the trip to Florida all that more exciting. Have been preparing for the day in which I meet you. BTW the rules about Canadians attending - if it wasn't for us old Canadians - Florida would be empty for half the year. LOL
ChuckHutchings 0
It has come to my attention that Michael Beason might not be able to afford to attend the mini in April since he has to buy a new refrigerator with a light in the freezer.

Hey you get back over on Facebook! Foul! Come back and take it like a man! Or... are you going to hide behind your car? Like your light display?
christmaswaters.com 0
Happy to report that Light-O-Rama is providing a nice door prize for our upcoming mini. Will advise on this as soon as I know what it is. I know it will be a prize we will all want.

michael b 1
So what exactly is it that happens at one of these minis, and would it be worth the time and $ commitment for a newbie to drive from Georgia???? Great question! Each Mini is different. Generally, there is a meet and greet, a buy and sell, a few presentations, and sharing. This year Bill Vanderslice will show us the in and outs of LEDs. Several decorators are bringing display items so we can see them in action. A screen and projector will be there so we can learn more about LOR and sequencing. Last year, I drove to Atlanta for the Georgia Mini. It was well worth my time and had a blast.
Cliff Hewitt 11
Have you heard if there is an Atlanta mini planned this year? I've looked in the Georgia thread and haven't seen any mentions. Although, the tampa area is closer for me. Thanks.

JLewinski 10
I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row so I can be there. I'll need to make reservations at a nearby hotel. Can you give me a major intersection near where the event will be so I can map out and research some hotels in the area? Thanks!

bisquit476 0
There are motels both north and south of I4 on Rt. 301 (exit 7), Motel 6 north, LaQuinta south, both within a mile of the interstate. I've stayed in both when visiting the RV show, they're both listed as Tampa fairgrounds.
rangebob 0
You can also look up any hotel near Busch Gardens since it is close to that area also. There are plenty of hotels near there.
