LightsonBeasley 0
Just came across a link on Twitter talking titled "Carolina Christmas coming to the Charlotte Motor Speedway" And thought what the heck, is William moving his display from the mountains/fire department to the Charlotte Speedway now?? LOL Link: http://www.charlottemotorspeedway.co...ws/578908.html Pretty neat display idea they will be having at the Charlotte Motor Speedway this year, maybe Judy Pancoast should have scheduled an appearance at the Speedway. Are any of the members of this board associated with this set up in any way?? It was just posted to the Charlotte Motor Speedway website today...

Brian Mitchell 16
Did they move this display from Bristol? I know Bristol has had a similar display in the past. Both tracks are owned by Bruton Smith.
LightsonBeasley 0
Did they move this display from Bristol? I know Bristol has had a similar display in the past. Both tracks are owned by Bruton Smith. I heard on another forum, that they were just expanding it and that Bristol and Charlotte will be doing displays this year. It was really surprising to me because I had never heard of a BIG Christmas Display being done at a Speedway!

Yeah, confusing.
DavBro 0
We are watching this too. Only 25 miles away from our house. I think it will be a good thing, but am curious how many folks will pay for the privilege.
mommyby3 10
We went to see the Bristol display a couple of years ago. It was great. There were people who waited in line for hours. Can't wait to add CMS to our list of Christmas displays to see. Tanglewoods Festival of Lights is another have to see according to my kids:)

Nana 10
We live behind Charlotte Motor Speedway and were disappointed in the display, did not match up to all the hype and was underwhelming not overwhelming. Heard from many people in the area that was their reaction also and we did not see long lines waiting to get in as I think the word spread quickly. When we turned on our LOR Christmas display my 9 yr old granddaughter said "Nana maybe you could go up and help them with their display at the Speedway". So even the kids were not blown away.
