Finished putting together the controller - grabbed the closest sets of lights I could find, and my sequences work!! OMG I am so excited!! If only it weren't budget season <cough cough> I'd call in sick!!!

My neighbors remember it too. They came home one night and saw me bundled up, sitting in a lawn chair with my little FM radio, in front of their house which is across the street from mine. They got such a kick out of the whole idea of the lights set to music that they cranked up their car stereo and watched with me.

Yeah my neighbor brags they can turn on the radio and just watch out their front window. She says she has an unpaid babysitter for hours because her kids will just sit and stare out the window.

My first test on my controllers I couldn't stop smiling for hours (my wife said it was creepy). I'm curious to see what I look like when I finally get it up in the yard. I've been a steady mix of excitement and terror for weeks now, and it's getting worse every day. I haven't been this nervous since grade school.

My neighbors across the street were so impressed the first year they called the news to come out. They told me they sit in their front room with their radio on listening and watching each evening.

This is my first year for LOR and I know exactly how you feel!! I have almost everything set up and I am still working on sequences. Hopefully I will be ready to light it all up next week I. have already done some test runs with part of the lights up and I am even more excited than ever!

Ran LOR for the first time last night! My 12 year old daughter said "Dad, this is the coolest thing I've ever seen!" If it never runs again, that was worth the work.

A couple hundred homemade connections and only 1 didn't work but was an easy fix. I can't wait for others to see.
