First Time Welding

Woohoo! Just finished my first ever welding project. I feel like a little kid who learned to ride a bike. It's not pretty but it is solid and will be covered in lights anyway. Two 10' diameter fireburst stars for simulated fireworks in the display. I can really appreciate the talent of those who can weld well. It must take a lot of time to perfect. Moving from 48 channels to 144, so lots of other projects to get to. Thanks for the welding tips to the PC posters.

Your first welds will always be ugly. Functional but ugly. Like everything else, the more you do, the better it looks.

I taught my son how to braze when he was about 14 and he thought it was the coolest skill ever.
