If you can, try to use a manual focus. A lot of times the auto focuses on cameras (both for photos and videos) don't focus on the lights and will make the lights blurred. And try to put your camera into a night mode, if it has it. And one last thing, try to shoot your videos just before it gets completely dark, as Darlene said. It will help the camera focus on the lights and make for more even lighting in the video. And it gives your viewers a chance to see what the lights look like in person. For example, with the little bit of light, you can see that the lights are outlining a window and that it isn't just a box floating in the air (as it might appear in a dark video).

I have an HD Flip cam; but it seems like the pictures are perfect on the little LCD but when I upload them onto the computer its all blurred. It does this not only for my night shots of the display but also for other day to day things we use it for.
