I've done the light show in July along with our towns celebration.  I had found that people didn't know about it in advance.  Also, the sun goes down at 9pm.  Doesn't give me much time to run a show.  Now if I make it as big as I do the Christmas display with 50,000 lights, well maybe it would be worth it.  But that's a whole other animal to tackle.  Lots of time invested during the "off season."  I may do it again, but most likely not for the next 2 years, when my time in the service is up.
