Hey everyone.

Like most of you I am beginning to plan our 2013 display. Unfortunately, earlier this month, my wife's grandfather passed away. She was very close to him, he was her rock and her inspiration. She is quite distraught over his passing. He was also a VERY big fan of our light display, even talking about it in his final days. He lived about a 1,000 miles away from us and was never able to see the display in person.

I would like to add a special tribute to him as part of our display for 2013 and beyond. I want to do this as a small way to honor him and his support for my wife. I am having some trouble coming up with ideas though, so I thought I would reach out here. I am considering doing a special voiceover and maybe a special song.

Anyone have any other ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I am sorry for your loss.

On my Facebook or website you will see links to video of the Tribute I did for my mom in last years show. I had a special vignette set up for her, and a dedicated part of our show that had a special announcement I recorded (I use Kevin Dunn for voiceovers, but I also am part of the dialog in my show and synthesize my voice), then her Memorial song, Angels Among Us, and her favorite song in my show, Stille Nacht. Send me a PM with your email address and I can forward my announcement MP3.
