Adding Lor Controllers To A D-Light System?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to use both D-Light and LOR controllers on a single communication cable? I currently use aurora software and d-light controllers and would like to add more controllers. I've had no problems with the d-light devices other than I would like to purchase more but it seems the company is no longer in the production mode. Can a LOR controller simply be plugged into the last d-light controller and continue the communication daisy chain?

You can use LOR and Dlight on same network but you must make a crossover cable to do that LOR and Dlight use different wires in the cable for their inputs.

If your interested in more Dlight boards contact me through PM

What type of "crossover" cable are you referring too?  I've placed the D-light controllers after the LOR controllers and haven't had any problems.  Am I risking damage to the D-Light controllers?

Tks!

Joe
