Lhuff712 0
This is my first year and I am just curious to see when everyone starts their show. I was planning on the first show to be Thanksgiving night. What do you do?
keitha 0
Thanksgiving night is good especially if the relatives are over. That was the date I lit up.
Jim Noel 18
We do the family dinner at my house with all the relatives. At 6, we all wander to the other side of the street to watch the first show of the season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ChicagoChristmasJim 0
I aim for Thanksgiving night, and if I don't, the neighbors are knocking on the door and asking when we're lighting up!

Tom Fleming 0
its all a matter of preference and/or tradition. ever since I was 5 my dad and I did Christmas lights every year the day after thanksgiving and I have kept the same tradition except I moved it up to thanksgiving because everyone is there for the lighting (and my dad's display didn't take 2 months to setup and test)
mjs805 13
I go live on Thanksgiving night. I've had people tell me that they come by every year on their way home from Thanksgiving dinner, so I can't change it now. I try to have the show complete the Saturday before, allowing for last minute tweaking and shooting some video without any cars out front. The neighbors give me some funny looks on that weekend, but I don't care. I know I've got a screw loose.
