Holiday Hello Cookies Recipe

Decorate the Dining table, with the help of Holiday Hello Cookies, which is made of cookies designed with a holly leaf.




  • 1 cup – butter ( softened)
  • 3/4 cup – sugar (confectioners')
  • 1/8 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - vanilla (extract)
  • 2 - egg (yolk alone, beaten)
  • 2 1/2 cups – flour (all-purpose)
  • Some sugar  (Green, crystals)
  • Color red and green decorators tubes,  icing
  • Red color gum (drops)


  1. Take a mixing bowl; beat the butter with help of an electric mixer over medium and low speed. Add 1. Sugar,  2.  Salt and   3. Vanilla extracts and again beat it until mixture turns light and also fluffy. Further, add and beat with 4. Yolk of the egg alone. Now slowly add   5. Flour and continue beating the mixture until all the ingredients combined well.  Shift the dough to a bigger bowl, cover it up with plastic wrap and refrigerate it overnight.
  2. Now the oven should be heated to 375 degrees F. Cut the ball of dough and make half an inch slabs, and then roll each balls of 1/4-inch thickness over the floured surface. With the help of cookie cutter, cut and trim the cookies. Then, arrange the cookies leaving 1/2 inch gap over a cookie sheet (ungreased). Sprinkle green sugar over it and press the sugar over the top of the dough.
  3. Bake, one batch after the other, until the cookies sets in and color changed to golden in color. Allow it to cool for about 5 minutes, and then shift it to the rack.
  4. Decorate the cookies by writing the kid’s name at the middle of the cookie and to the edges pipe icing. With the help of icing attach red color gumdrop and "holly berries." Allow the icing to become harder before shifting to the table.


The whole family including kids can get creative and decorate it to make it Personalized Cookies. Kids can also measure ingredients, can roll and also can cut out dough, and can also decorate cookies and gift it to family members, to friends and also to teachers.
