fairclb 3
Set up the HolidayCoro ActiDongle to play with RGB, now I am getting comm port errors, windows says it can't verify signatures on drivers... any advice?
fairclb 3
Figured it out, Windows couldn't verify the driver. I reverted the driver to an older version for both dongles and everything seems to be working now.
qberg 158
My windows 7 did an update to the drivers right before our holiday open house. Afterwards I had comport errors like you mentioned. I went to the LOR site and reinstalled the RS485 driver and it fixed it all. http://www1.lightorama.com/firmware-updates/
fairclb 3
Thanks qberg, I tried that but it didn't work. The issue was that I installed a newer version of the driver and Windows insisted on using that.
TED 137
It sounds like those new drivers were released before they were fully tested! TED
qberg 158
TED...I agree. They were the new Microsoft FTDI drivers but after they installed you would get the errors in the device manager for your now "unknown USB device". When you would look at them it would say the drivers couldn't be verified. Try to update the driver in windows...you have the best one? How...it doesn't work and isn't verified. Thanks Windows. I tried for about 45 minutes before I got them all uninstalled, rolled back, downloaded the old drivers etc. to work.
