The SnowMan 2
I've got a ton of 100 count strands of incandescent red lights but do any of you know where I can buy longer strands? Led or incandescent is ok but looking more for mini bulbs. I'm looking for a bunch for my roof. Thanks.
merrymidget 42
GE designer series strands {incandescent} have a bulb spacing of 5 inches making the strands over 41 ft each as compared to most other 100 bulb strands that average 20-22 feet long. GKI/Bethlehem Lighting also produce strands{both led and incandescent} with bulb spacing 6 inches apart making total string length about 50 feet long. Brian at Holiday-light-express.com also carries 6 inch bulb spacing sets of 5mm wide angle LED sets. Most of the bigbox sets have become shorter and shorter to save on copper wire costs! mwalz 110
If you use zip ties you can make 5 strands look like 1 flawless strand.... I haven't seen any in big box stores ever. Only white and multicolor.
The SnowMan 2
Great thanks. Ive done the multiple strands for years but I've always wanted longer complete strands for different projects. Thanks for the info. I will look into those places.
