I did such a good job installing two CCF50w (rgb floods) above my garage doors two years ago that I wanted them to be there all year.  And so they are.  After messing around with the stand alone mode and sequence downloading, I was able to get the floods to work on demand by flipping the power on/off with the breaker. Experienced electricians on this site talked me out of that practice. This Christmas I received "Alexa" as a gift.  My thoughts immediately went to how I can incorporate this device into my lights.  I now use "Alexa" as the switch to activate each floods stand alone mode or as a group.  Pretty cool if you ask me! 

ps I love to activate the switch remotely and freak out my neighbors! 

hum, what else can "Alexa" do for my lights show?
