Recommendation Needed - QUALITY Icicle Lights?

Hi all,

I'm hardly a lighting pro, but I love the holidays, and every year I try to add a little more.  The last few years I have strung icicle lights along the roof with cheap (CHEAP) Wal-Mart branded ("Holiday Time", I think?) lights.  These things are GARBAGE.  So I just threw them all out due to frustration and want to bite the bullet and buy QUALITY icicle lights that preferably are as easy as possible to work with.  No dead sections, no strings dying...  Any recommendations, guys?

I ran the Walmart icicles for over 10 years....18x 300 count strands.  It got to the point that I was replacing over 1,000 bulbs each year and it never failed.  As soon as you got em all up a section would go out due to a bad bulb/shunt.  The lightkeeper pro was the only way I was able to run em that long.  2 years ago, after the wife broke all her nails helping replace bulbs, I mentioned that HLE had a sale coming up.  She just handed me the checkbook and said buy em!

This is my 2nd year with the HLE LED warm white icicles and I couldn't be happier.

The only thing I wish is that the LED icicles had the # of bulbs that the icans do.

Thank you all for the HLE nods.  Are they similar to these? https://www.christmasdesigners.com/led-icicle-lights-70-light-set-pure-white.html

I like the idea of a "closed, sealed" string to deflect the elements.  I found these searching the web, but they're even more expensive than the HLE brand you mentioned.

I hope y'all are enjoying the holidays!

Yes, they are similar if not the same thing.
