AdamR 3
I found the 5ft General Foam Santa with the red bag yesterday for $50. I have been wanting this one for awhile and seeing what people were selling them for, I jumped on it and did not have to go far to pick it up. Actually found it decently local on facebook marketplace. I do have a question. It has a small crack as seen in the closeup, is it wise to get something to fill that in or will it be ok if I left it alone? And if needed filled in, what product is best to use. Thanks! shane page 136
Sometimes you can use plastic and melt it in the crack and fix it, kinda like welding it back together. I use a soldering gun. You can also use a halogen work light and get the plastic hot and get it back to where it should be and just leave the crack alone.
RichardG 73
Crack is an easy fix. If the plastic will push back together you can use a glue good for plastics. I’ve used hot glue in the past and have used quick grip glue. Just have to make sure it will dry clear and not yellow. Also heard of others who used shoe glue and e6000. Good luck!
