Anyone remember the indoor snowing & musical Christmas trees?

Recommended Posts

It was late 60's - early 70's while visiting my aunt and uncle that they showed us their Christmas tree.  It was a full size tree that sat in a type of basin or what looked like an upside down umbrella.  The basin had small white pellets that went up the center tree pole and were shot out from the top.  This "snow" would trickle down the tree to be recycled up the tree again.  I was just a small kid but I remember this tree.  I just found out that companies are making this self snowing tree again.  I can't find anything online about the history of this kind of tree and was wondering if anyone here remembers it.

I do remember seeing those but I couldn't tell you when or where!  I thought they were pretty cool.  You should post a link to where you saw these in case anyone else is interested in getting one.  It would be a good thing to post in the "Heads Up" area of the forum.
