  1. We should all go to the Chicago mini and the Drainage Factory! That would be some road trip. They wouldn't know what to do with all of us. lol
  2. I'm game...when the weather gets better.
  3. Thanks for the info Carrie but is sure is a long way from NY. Do you know if they also have catalog sales?
  4. At least you guys have grass for Easter. Most years we still have snow and even if there isn't any snow, the grass isn't growing yet here. I'd love to have the problem of mowing. I'll trade grass for snow anyday. But I'd also like to see Tom blowing those eggs around with his leaf blower. :giggle: :giggle: I think a video is needed of him leaf blowing eggs this year. Come on Tom..indulge us!
  5. Just curious...It sounds like you can buy directly from the factory. Can you? Do they have catalog sales too? Thanks
  6. I just recently got the patriotic snowman. It took me a long time to find it too. I just happened to come across it from someone that was selling Halloween molds and I asked about it and the guy pretty much gave it to me...I only paid $15. I must add that it is rare to find any blow molds where I live but I was very lucky that time. I guess patience is the name of the game when trying to find some of the rarer blow molds.
  7. I have one of these....still in the wrapping. I was thinking of putting it out next Christmas with the rest of the sheep.
  8. I'd love to have both of the TPI bunnies. They look great in your display.
  9. Yeah...I'd like to make that trip too. I hear the owner sure is a great painter of those lollies.
  10. Thanks for responding. I was hoping that you could recommend a cutter and software. Oh well..my quest continues.
  11. Yeah..You PA guys and gals do rock. I guess the rest of us blow molders from the other parts of the US have a lot of catching up to do.
  12. Great buy Jim. You have some really nice pieces there. I really like the pumpkin. I've been looking for that one. Lucky you.
  13. Sounds great to me. Only it has to be lunch AND drinks! :giggle:
  14. I've been to Almost Paradise Crafts. They have lots and lots of General Foam blow molds but as Matilda said, they are expensive. When I was there last, they had a good variety of Christmas, Easter and Halloween blow molds. It might be worth it if you are looking for a particular one.
  15. Congrats on your new snowman Jim. Some PC members are really helpful and friendly.
  16. What type of vinyl cutter do you use? Does it have any software that is included?
  17. Great finds. $5.00 each for the choir is great. Free for Snoopy and Tigger is outstanding. My best finds were $5.00 for the big Snoopy at a garage sale and two Beco choir peeps for $3.00 each at Goodwill in PA. They were all in perfect condition.
  18. Great idea Tom. I've always thought that the lamp posts were a little too short and you've solved the problem. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Very nice Frank. You sure have lots of blow molds! Your yard is perfect for displaying them. I especially like the pictures that show the full display. It must be even better in person. Thanks for taking the time to show us all of your pictures.
  20. Nice display Tom. It's good to see your repaints outside. Good thing you have the bears on the porch or they would just blend in with the snow. You sure got lots of snow. We didn't get any for once! Thanks for sharing
  21. I remember that there used to be window after window of great displays like those in storefronts on Main Street in my town. Every telephone pole had lighted figures and every fifth one had a light string that crossed over the road. I was only a kid then but I remember sitting in the back seat of my parent's car, staring out with my nose pressed up against the back window to see all of the lights overhead and rushing back to the side windows as not to miss the storefront displays. It was a major outing for the whole family and I begged my parents to go multiple times every year. It is such a shame that my children don't have the same simple pleasures. Thanks for sharing the pictures Shawn.
  22. That's cool Shawn. It looks like it belongs at Pepper's Mardi Gras.
  23. Good finds especially Mrs Claus with her glasses. Most of them get lost or broken and to find them intact at a Goodwill is especially rare. Lucky you.
