About my display
I am new to holiday decorating. I like decorating my home for christmas. So far I have about 500 lights and they are all LED, but I do admit I have a bunch of candycanes that are the incandescent mini lights and I have 5 inflatables. I have one Gemmy Holiday Lightshow.

dukester544600 replied to dukester544600's topic in Community Wide Announcements From You!
I did send Paul and email this morning no respone as of yet. I would imagine being Sunday I wont hear from him till tomorrow. Only problem is that our local newspaper is coming Tuesday for photos. -
If anyone has any female vampire plugs they are looking to get rid of please send me a message as soon as possible. I am having a lighting ceremony with our local food pantry next Saturday and dont have enough plugs to hook everything up. Thanks for any help, Michael

Can anyone recommend a good free HD to SD converter download? I downloaded the AVS software but it puts a picutre of AVS through out the video.

True enough I am not sure why I did not think of the most simple thing.

I want to make a tower for something in my display next year and I want to put one light on top of it that flashes. what is the best way to go about doing this? It does not need to be a big bright light. A C9 bulb would do the trick. Any advice would be great, thank you.

How Does A Rotating Christmas Tree Stand Work?
dukester544600 replied to dukester544600's topic in Motorized Contraptions
Those slip rings seem like they would be quite expensive. Is there any other way of making decorations with lights rotate and not pull out the cords? -
Can someone please explain to me how a rotating Christmas tree stand works? How do they add the electrical outlets without the cords being ripped out? Maybe it’s a dumb question but I would like to know. If anyone has any pictures of a disassembled rotating stand they could share with me that would be great. Thanks, Michael
