  1. New song for Halloween 2013! "Witches' Dance Floor" by Clay Layton. This year I expanded my Halloween light show to included my Halloween Tree and most of the 135 Jack-o-Lanterns in my display (not all of them are shown in the video). The minute I heard this song, I KNEW I wanted to use it in my Halloween light show. While I'm not 100% happy with how the sequencing of the arch turned out, the song by Clay Layton is AMAZING! You can download "Witches' Dance Floor" here.... http://amzn.to/18iXlDn
  2. I used "Gangnam Style" for my Jack-o-Lantern arch, but it's the ONLY non-Halloween song I do. And, since it will have been nearly three years since it came out, I'm not going to use it this coming Halloween.
  3. "This is Halloween" "Oogie Boogie's Song" "Witches' Dance Floor" "Shake Your Bones" "Ghostbusters" "Grim Grinning Ghosts" "Nightmare on My Street" "Somebody's Watching Me" "Lil Red Riding Hood" "Blue Moon" That enough for ya?
  4. Ditto to the above. I've been on both of them for a couple of years now. VERY cool people, and VERY helpful.

  12. I've done it as a Jack-o-Lantern Projection!
  13. I have a request.... How about you upload them to the VIDEO section of Planet Christmas. That way you won't be filling up the Halloween section with 70 new threads with just one video each in them! OR, just create ONE thread, and post ALL of them in that thread! Just a couple of suggestions. Trying to help keep the forum from getting cluttered.
  14. Did you know, the movie "Nightmare Before Christmas" was released 20 years ago TODAY?! Here's my Jack-o-Lanterns singing the theme song "This is Halloween"....
  15. Well, it rained and is really cold this evening, and I thought I'd experiment with my fog machine. I have a fog chiller (a chest type I made), but I wanted to see if I could get similar results with the bushes in my yard. So, I took my fog machine and pointed it into various dense evergreen bushes and shrubs in my yard. The result.... it kinda works! The bush I found that gave the best result, was one that was quite dense, but had space at the bottom for the fogger to shoot into the bush unobstructed. The bush itself was mostly dry. But inside, it was cold and was surrounded by wet lawn and soil. I would guess that I could also increase the success of this method by spraying the bush with water and dumping some ice on it. I'll have to give that a try and get back with you. Anyone else ever tried using a cold wet bush as a fog chiller?
  16. You want your house to get egged, etc.? Do that song!
  17. I just realized I may not have been clear enough. The projector is 5'-6' from the pumpkins. However, the size of your pumpkins will determine how far away you can set your projector. The larger the pumpkins, the farther the projector can be set. Brighter projectors with 1,000+ lumens will do GREAT at 20'-30' away....if your pumpkins are as big as your garage! LOL!
  18. Here's the link to my YouTube channel, where you can find ALL my Jack-o-Lantern Projections and Singing Pumpkin Music Videos! If you see something you like, let me know, and we can discuss the details of purchasing them! YouTube Channel Hope to hear from you soon!

  20. Here's what I usually tell people..... Use your imagination! It can be disguised by just about anything but a block of ice! Most people will build a tombstone to hide the projector in, and leave an opening in the back for the image to shine out of. Some will hollow out a straw bale and line it with a plastic box or wood. I've even seen someone use a large artificial pumpkin to hide the projector in. The size of the disguise depends on the size of your projector. Whatever you build, make sure it keeps your projector out of the elements (rain/snow) and that there is enough ventilation so your projector can "breathe". You don't want it overheating and shutting down in the middle of a show! Hope that helps!
