Sounds like I will be getting the 3-4 flash per sec strobes. Thanks for the suggestions.

I am going to build a Meg's Tree next year and I will add strobes to the tree. My question is what type of strobe should I use, 1flash every 3 sec or the curtain style with 3-4 flash sec (such as the ones found on CLS)? I might be looking to much in to this. Any suggestion on a minimum number of strobes for a 20' tree, diameter 20'. Thanks
  3. I would be glad to show you anything you desire. Coordinating time to meet is the only thing we may have difficulty with as I do work 3 jobs. I am usually available on weekends or very late at night on weekdays. I usually start take down on 1 or 2 Jan. I take the bigger stuff down first...mega trees...arches...signs....things like that. The lights on the trees and bushes can wait till warmer weather.... If I take something down that you wanted to see, I can explain in detail how things were set up for the show. As far as the ins and outs..... start smaller and work up. If you start wiht 128 channes youare going to be overwhelmed in programming. I started with 16 channels first year. by year 5 I was up to 160 channels. My cell number is 586-899-4693 feel free to call when you want to stop by. Doug

  4. Senior, I met you on the night of December 23rd. I was the guy who was talking to you about getting into the animated light display and you took the time to explain some of your set up with me. I know it was a cold night and wanted to say thank you. Would you be willing to meet with me and go over the in's and out's of starting a display? I am new at this and I am in need of some direction. I don't know when you take down your display but I would like to see how you run everything. Chris
