I got some at Big Lots last weekend for $10. They're Energy Star and UL rated. -

WOW! That'll be expensive to decorate your house.

If you haven't done so already, I would suggest filing a complaint with Alibaba since you went through them to get to the distributor. I know they have a department that handles things like this.

This movie is going to be terrible. The only thing that may be watchable at all is Daniel Stern as the dad.

Thanks Mike. Exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks guys. This is helpful. I am trying to find plans for a DIY snowflake to bring the costs down. Those look really nice but are out of my price range if I want 3 or 4 of them.

I'm still considering myself a newbie because I'm still learning the glory of Christmas yard displays. This year I wanted to put something on my roof because the side of it can easily be seen from the street. I was thinking of putting snowflakes up there. I've looked everywhere for a DIY snowflake I can put on my roof. I want one that'll light up using ropelight or mini-lights or whatever. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Your roof is like a blank billboard waiting to be decorated. I think a really BIG 'Merry Christmas' written across would be solid.

What is your family's traditional Christmas meal?
ocsurf replied to MinnesotaMike's topic in Recipes for Christmas Cooking
+1 AGREED! -
I'm a newbie and I gotta say that this forum and all you vets are AWESOME! There have been many great ideas and help here. Anyways, I'm trying to go for the WOW factor with my lights this year. My displays have always been pretty simple with just some mini-lights and icicle lights. I'm in the process of making some mini arches too! My question is this. I have $100 to spend on my Christmas display and was wondering what to buy to give it a little more WOW! Like I said, I just have mini-lights, icicle lights and I'm building the arches. Thanks guys!
