  • The original Rudolph did not have a red nose. In that day and age, red noses were seen as an indicator of chronic alcoholism and Montgomery Ward didn’t want him to look like a drunkard. To complete the original picture, he was almost named Reginald or Rollo.

Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years, changing the color of his coat from tan to the red he’s known for today.

    1. We got blasted last night with 50-60 mph winds, took a while to get every thing back up and running tonight.
    2. Heres Why we do it. Close to 3000 toys for Toys for Tots, before and after, next drop is Wed.
    3. Christmas is so under way by 7:00 om we had 16 limos threw, lost count, at one point 3 limos, 1 trolley, and a Party bus, plus our normal traffic. The best part is this morning we got to take close to 3000 toys for our first drop for Toys for Tots. They had to close yesterday, out of toys. first pic was when we got there. Then after we unloaded. Such a Blessing to get to do this and to meet some of the Families. We have another on Wed.

    5. I love doing it and then being out and wishing the folks who come by a Merry Christmas and the Childrens faces and the Joy of Christmas, yes it's work, we changed a lot this year but so worth it to get a Merry Christmas from a child out the window to You.

    7. They are work. And tons of work if You put them on the roof. But I love them like my big Santa in the back yard.
    8. so far tonight 7 Limos and 6 full size buses thru the addition, its picking up since Dec. hit.
    9. A Guy that shots for a living came by and shot our homes around here and is promoting our Toys for Tots drive.We are all into it and have about 10 homes here together up and going, lots of fun.

    11. I have one of those on order for an install as well as the smaller one. Great IR for night vision.
    12. it's 480 lines resolution and it doesn't zoom it just moves around but a great picture. I have been putting in a lot of 650-700 line hi-res cameras and this is up there picture quality and can be moved.

    14. the 4" Zmoda pan tilt is an amazing camera at a great price, I sell a good number of them, they dont zoom but it has a great picture that an be moved around.

    16. One think here they do respond to this, I played video of some kids bashing mail boxes, got great pics and they got them, they paid to replace them.
    17. I have 9 Cameras in the front yard4 on the sides and will have 2 in the back yard only 1 now, 1 in the shop. I love My Zmoda D1 16 Channel DVR.
    18. I do have the motion alarm on at night when the decarations are off so I hear when something moves in the field of the camera.

    20. Kind of sad but after the last few years of folks stealing from the nativity, I have 16 cameras around the yard. These are the newest adds. And ran steel cable thru all the animals in the nativity with locks on them.
