Looking For Ideas For How To Narrate My Nativity

Linus telling the story to Charlie Brown here too. Perfecto. Tim Fischer was the first I saw with it and it was great. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk -
I've always used candy canes but that is a low estimate. I like the trail can idea. I've often wondered only because we have so many people that come to see the house. And of course it is always a question we get asked. For me I'd love to know just for the fun of it if nothing else. I grow or shrink because I choose to and for our visitors. But I do it more for my own selfish reasons. Lol. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

On wood you shouldn't med clear but on the coro depending on the paint you use the clear might be necessary. We had to clear ours because of the paint we used on it. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

We have some. I used coro because I thought it would last longer than plywood. They both have their pluses and minuses. If you go with coro make sure you clear coat just as you would plywood. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Christmas Items Already Out In A Store Near You...

Garden Ridge is always one of the first. Haven't been to a Walmart in a while though. Late September seems about right. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2 -

Selling a couple of controllers. They are LOR PC 16 V1 boards. I do have at least one newer V board as well. I have used them in my display the last few years. They have the high powered great sinks and are in good working order. Asking $150 each OBO plus shipping. Send me a message if interested. Things will be handled on a first come first serve basis. Can't believe this thread is up and running again. I think I started it last year. I'm not sure what we're doing this year. I do not foresee our big show this year. Since I have kids we will put up lights and I may just do animation with background music but no show. It has been a very stressful few months for my wife and I so no show will be helpful. Plus last year the cops came as we were blocking up a main road. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

I started with 32 channels way back in 2006. It was fairly easy to learn and sequence up. Then I built up from there to about 300 channels. I built each year until I got to where I am now. I do know those who jumped in and went straight to 100's of channels. I couldn't imagine doing that. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Looks great. Very creative and different. Looks like it could have jumped off the pushes of a Dr. Seuss book. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Look good. Are you using the Krylon fusion paint or something else? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

It comes down to personal choice. I've made several coro projects over the years. Mine are on separate pieces. Some are about 4ft tall like my peanuts. Others are about 5+ feet such as frosty and the Grinch. If you are lighting up the cut out to make it talk or sing I would use no more than two per sheet, I prefer one. My Felix the cat and Elton John are big enough that I had to use 1 piece. Just my opinion. Here are my cut outs. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

I was going to use Ryan's idea with the strips as they look like a great idea. But in the end I used pvc attached from the eves with hooks. As you can see in my picture they run vertical. It's not perfect but been doing it the last two years. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

After looking you have what you need to make the lights flash. Now to start playing with your toys. Enjoy. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

The PC controllers are less expensive than the showtime controllers. So between that and a basic starter that sounds about right. I'm guessing you got the basic license and not advanced? The advanced license us about $70. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Nice to see some GA folks at it. I haven't been on PC in a while. Too busy working and working. LOL We have been up and running and plan to do so until New Years Eve. Had a big year this year. More traffic than I ever thought imaginable for starters. We also had a marriage proposal in front of the display and an Angel that is helping a family in which we raised money for. Wish I could get out and check out others this year but unfortunately traffic does not allow me to get out. We have so many people we should have a mini!

I have an old empire sleigh and deer I want to put up on my roof. The yard just won't cut it. The problem I am having is how to mount it up there. I have searched and read and have some ideas but nothing I have found so far seems like it will exactly work. I want the sleigh to be "airborne" rather than set on the peak. So anyway coming home today as I drove in the driveway I had an Ah-Ha moment. So this is where I could use some input from my friends here on PC. I am attaching a picture or two to see the house. As you can see I really have nothing to mount to like a chimney or big tree, so
