  • The original Rudolph did not have a red nose. In that day and age, red noses were seen as an indicator of chronic alcoholism and Montgomery Ward didn’t want him to look like a drunkard. To complete the original picture, he was almost named Reginald or Rollo.

Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years, changing the color of his coat from tan to the red he’s known for today.

  1. I really wanted to order some of your molds...that is until I get the shipping charges !!!! 40.11 to ship a 39.99 36" angel !!! seriously? you really need to revise your charges if you expect people to buy, fed ex is definatley not the cheapest carrier USPS parcel select is cheaper !

  4. I have some moldcraft pieces from 1958, the material on these seems to be more rubber like than mine...which are harder. they could even be heller industries. from the label date.
  5. I have never seen this before, it looks similar to mold craft but it says silvestri? anyone care to shed some light on these?
