  • About my display
There are over 100 inflatables, a penguin area, santa's village, two nativities, etc. We have it all. Just got to focus more on the lights.

We also decorate BIG for Halloween and Easter. We decorate with whate ever we have for Valentines, St Pats, 4th of July, Mardi Gras, and our birthdays too!
  1. I do not know what the item I am going to describe is called and I cannot find where I saw it so I came here. I am certain someone will be able to guide me! We use strobes at Halloween and do not use all of the light sockets in the string. I had found someone who sold some sort of "plug" that you would I guess screw into that empty socket to seal it up. So that is the item I am looking for. Don't know what it is called or where I can find it. Can anybody help? Thanks!!
  2. Richard, I like your tree idea but I am confused about the straight connecting side. Was this created by using the outside edge of the material or did you add some type of straight rod? Hard to see for sure in photo.
  3. Well Tony, it is too late. Took the motor off last Christmas and did not bother to do it the correct way but rather the lazy one - we cut it off. I know, cringe now. Anyway, my plan is not to sell this as it is one of my partner's favorite characters. Plus, they are the one who sewed it to the new base! Will grap a cheap 8' and hook it up this christmas. Thanks for the info.
  4. Thanks Ya'll. The motor on Ebay won't work for Buggs but might for a globe someone gave me that had one motor not working. Might have to get that. Tony, are the clips at the bottom of the present clipped to your base? Are you talking about the short legged 8' bases? I am guessing you are and that the older long legged bases are more for the taller inflatables. Might just have to do some real searching this halloween/christmas. Thanks!
  5. I know there is someone out there who sells the music, frames, etc. for a computerized halloween show. I found them last year and actually got someo of the music but cannot find the site now to get the pumpkins, tombstones, etc. Does anybody know who I am talking about? Maybe a link as well. Thanks!!!!!!!!!
  6. I am in need of the right motor to inflate my Christmas Bugs. I had an old motor that I attached but its legs are too short, making Bugs too close to the ground. The way he is crafted I am thinking he needs one of those older bases with the long legs. Either way, he needs mmore than the short nubs on the spare motor that I have. So the question is where to find motors besides buying cheap inflatables and trashing them for the motor? Also, if anyone has already changed out the european motor for an american one, could you give me an idea of the type you used? Thanks!
  7. Well, Terisa and I will be thinking about ya'll. We have a long standing prior commitment in Raleigh that cannot be missed. If this was on Sunday we could be there. Will miss seeing you all. Nickie
  8. Well my car, parked in front of my house, got rear ended by a person leaving after walking through my display! Incredible! Slammed and I mean SLAMMED right into it. Hit the gas instead of the brake. Saw the whole thing with my own two eyes as I stood in the yard. Didn't do much damage though fortunately and they will pay for the repairs. What I want to know is where that camera is posted? Looks like it is across the street.
  9. I think if you use either purple or green bulbs where the eyes, nose and mouth are it will look better. Then the features won't get lost in the dark - lol. Good luck!

  13. I think if you pull the orange and replace with either purple or green bulbs it will be easier to see that you have eyes, nose and mouth. I am thinking that without them being lit, they might just get lost in the bushes - lol. Good luck.
  14. Thanks Tim. Have been talking to Jason some. He is really busy right now. But he is the one who put the dang things in Teresa's head - lol. She talked to him for hours in the lobby of the hotel one night. He showed her photos and everything. All I could do is shake my head - lol. Was it Joe's photos that we saw at your party? I could not remember whose those were but clearly remember seeing risers that this person used at the back of thier yard. I'll contact Joe too. Thanks for the suggestion. Nickie
  15. It does but I am wondering how you crossed the rope light or did you cross under the frame? Did you use the connectors that allowed you to place the rope light in the direction you wanted it? Not sure if I am asking it right. Basically how did you do that - lol? Where did you start? Are there breaks in the rope light? You get the idea. Thanks for the info. Nickie
