  1. Thanks - I'm working on getting some detail and photos of the past project. I found out last night that a town about 30 miles away has recently finished a project like this. I'm working on getting some details on their finished project. I'll pass that information along in this thread when I have the details if can help anyone else.
  2. Hi all - I've been working with residential lights for many years - mostly DIY - and need some help. I've been approached by a local city who would like to add a strip of lights on top of each building, on either side of the street, down an entire city block. Probably a quarter mile or less - it's small city main street. They would be happy with only white, but if they could have RGB with a little "movement" that would be great. They have had lights in the past, all glass incandescent, and were all destroyed during a massive hail storm last year. I'm looking for some advice on a simple option, maybe a metal channel with LED lights? I know they have power outlets on top of each building. Local electricians are not knowledgable on LED, but could install the system if given instructions. Can someone point me in a direction? Thanks!!
  3. Could you ask your relative another question please? The LED spot light is listed as 1 Watt, if I were to remove the LED from the existing power supply, would one of these power supplies be adwquate to power the LED without overloading it? https://www.amazon.com/Njuone-Switching-5-5x2-5mm-Transformer-Security/dp/B0823GSQ27/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=VXJMDKF52RGL&dchild=1&keywords=4+volt+dc+adapter&qid=1608401274&sprefix=4+volt+dc%2Cinstant-video%2C183&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzR1BNRVVXNlM3SFNWJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDY3ODcyMzk3UU5GSFRaNU42NCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwOTY2MDkzMk9VUkxXRU1SOFVJMSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
  4. Thanks! That answer backs up some other answers I had gotten. Yes, a relative purchased this online from a company in Italy - that explains the European power requirements!
  5. I need help with an LED with attached power supply. The unit came assembled with two bare wires. Am I able to just add a two-prong plug to this and plug it into a 110 outlet? Thanks!
  6. Neworder, Where'd you order your c9 cabling from?

  11. Where will the DVD be sold? Off this web site or another? Thanks
  12. Do you really want to make a 20ft. tall tree? There are many tutorials in the forums on how to make a large tree out of PVC pipes, etc., but I don't think they're 20 ft. tall. Using the flagpole would be sturdy, but you'd have no way to attach the lights at the top of the pole. Just do a search for mega tree or maxi tree in the forums and see what you find.
  13. I found some of those GE brand floods at Wal-Mart the other day. The green and red are good - I thought the blue was a little weak.
  14. Maybe you could post some photos of the building to see what you're dealing with?
