  1. We are seing the same problems uphere in quebec. I have many different set and most are falling. you can see the rust moving up the wires inside the resing capsuls. I too have removable bulb on a certain make and have found 2-3 rusted out bulbs and bases. the bases still work but for how long. I contacted them about this problem but were unaware ot this problem. good thing they have a 7 year warranty! noma has a 5 year warranty when you get them from Canadian tire.
  2. Paul are these pictures of the samples? If they are thats a entire new look I have not see yet. are they glass?
  3. This is a good price! well below my cost.
  4. Yes I know you know how to make them fade. I have been doing the same with set of 25, 50 and 70 LED. But with this single Bulb right now it cannot be done without doing something major in the concept of the conversion of the 120v to the low voltage the LED needs.
  5. yes very sure I have on hand 3 generations of the bulb and all of them do not fade. It's the way they convert 120v to low voltage that makes them undimmable. There may be a way to addapt them, but they have not found the way yet.
  6. Those too don't fade tried them. I know there the ones I sell up here in Canada.
  7. As I have said to others in the past right now these version do not fade with the LOR boards. But this year they will be comming out with a better version and as soon as I can get my hands on a sample I will test it out for you. and yes they are 120 volts stephan
  8. We also have a version of the C9 LED bulb that you are looking for. We also have other types of LED light set available. Stephan Key La Magie de Noel http://www.lamagiedenoel.ca

I have been doing commercial displays for over 8 years and computer control for at least 3 years now in wonderfull very cold weather. This year we have 4 customers that have light-o-rama controlles displays. By the way in or cold weather the indoor light string the plastic gets very hard and may crack. But in the many years of personnal display's( my home) I have not had any fail. I would never put indoor lights on my customers display outdoors. If something was t
  10. you know your a CFL when after a snow storm you pull out the snow blower and blow the snow from the front lawn so you can work on putting up your display. and yes I did do that today!
  11. I have had no problems with the noma set other then 4 green set going half dead from last years batch. The one good thing is they do not have this weird way of splicing the wires. stephan
  12. I have no idea what could be the problem with these set but it may be due to water when it rains or a real problem with the connection. Then manufacturer name on the plug is ting shen model TS-63 but they are the manufacturers of the plugs only not the strings. The manufacturer of the string is Bortex distributed by Universal Light in Canada. This is the second case of electrical problem I have had with thisdistributer the other was with 5 watt set 4 years ago with set that caught fire when it rainned( 4 set burnt back then but no recall). I have included a picture of the defect. Steph
