Baron, ICE is Indiana Christmas Enthusiasts and July 8-9 is our gathering. You may find more information at www.indianachristmas.com or in the forums at www.holidayuniversity.com. Feel free to PM me here or at any of those above sites. Thank you Greg

I have 100 boxes of Walmart multis. Cost is $1.25 each plus shipping. Since the PM system does not work, please contact me at Holiday University (username: gjones) or at one of the websites in my signature.

Anyone replaced a bad TRIAC lately?
indytycoon replied to ErnieHorning's topic in DIY Direct Control of Hardware
Mine was not part of that set. Mine is a BTA08 -
Don't forget to leave July 8 - 10, 2011 on your schedule for ICE! In the Indianapolis area. We will have a great conference! (Remember my rule, it is NOT a mini)

I have a bad one that I'm replacing this weekend. I'll let you know. It was most likely from that group buy. -

Hey, you took my lights! . not really.

I'm waiting for the 1 foot long 100 ct strand myself.

Really nice Cedric! Where do you get your lights?

LOR2 Imports LOR1 files fine. Just open the LOR1 in LOR2 and it is automatically converted. I always do a "save as" and keep the original LOR1 file just in case.

A "delicate" situation with a couple of viewers

Well, that clears it up a bit. Get a real bright flashlight (1,000,000 candlepower should do it) and "accidentally" shine it in the car. They may get the hint. -
Computer mode when show is not running

I kept my screen saver on. I was using the Planet Christmas Screen saver (without the music) -
Computer mode when show is not running
indytycoon replied to urthegman's topic in DIY Direct Control of Hardware
Yes I left it on, that way I was sure it would run. I now use a spare desktop. -
I use both. I have 11 LOR controllers and 1 128ch Lynx Freestyle. I use the freestyle for stuff in the yard. DIY is a lot less expensive, but the support is not there. If have no problem researching when something goes wrong, it is the way to go. If you want a system that has great customer support run LOR. I was going to use an all DIY solution with LSP, but I had issues with the software. I'm not a fan of Vixen, but that's just me.

I disabled sleep and hibernate on my laptop when I used it for the show. Otherwise it would not run. -

I agree, if you can't see what is going on, how do you know what is going on. I have a car that the windows fog up merely by sitting in it. Some cars just do that. If you have actually witnessed the act, call the cops, if they are blocking traffic or driveways, then do something about it. Otherwise, try walking by with a flashlight and such. -
If you are looking for the music here are a few things. First, try getting the song from Amazon, it ranges from $.81 to $1.19 here is a link to Sandstorm. Second, download Audacity. Use Audacity to edit the song, change levels, shorten, etc. Also, check out lorsequences.com for the sequence if you haven't already. I agree with the others, Chuck was merely stating that he does not think the song was Christmasy. Trouncing other members is not a way to stay "family friendly"
