About my display
18000 light with LOR
-
Both this year and last I have had failures in LeD icycles blue snowflakes. Most of the case I bought do not work or half don't work. I replaced one section or strand 3 days in a row. No more LED icyces for me.
-
I wonder why anyone is still dealing with him after last years mess. He still owes me warrenty light from last year and I have not received any responce for two months?
-
I have had my replacement up for more than a week and working great. Thanks Paul.

I added about 300 strings of M5's this year. So I am about 90% LED's. I went to LED because of the colors and they don't lose there color being out in the weather. Also I did not have enough power to add more lights. I had about 6 strands of icicles fail right away but they were replaced in warrenty. I had just one M5 failure. My mini tress are M5's and this is there third year with no problems. I plan to buy more LED this year.

I used to live in Miami Springs.

Maybe I got a bad batch? I was thinking these were new this year. The cover over the LED bulbs is shaped like a snowflake.

I have had 6 strings fail on icicles LED snowflake I got from CDI. They are blue LED snowflakes. When working they are Wonderful. They have been working since 11-27 and I am using LOR. They start to fail with half the string and a few days late the complete string. CDI has been great in offering replacements but these may failures in lest than two weeks is very high? Any comments

This one arch goes across my sidewalk to the front door. I was hoping it would be high enough for someone to walk under it. I could let it sit in the sun. I took it straight from the garage. I am think of using a piece of 3/4 inside the 1 inch and see if that bends? Or do what Ryan does and use fittings.
-
My first arch is history I am trying to make a 20 foot arch out of gray PVC, 1 inch, using two 10 foot sections to cross my sidewalk. I cut a few notches in one end so it would be easy to remove and drilled a 1/4 inch hole for a bolt. My first placement of the re bar had the center too low. I moved the re bar closer and POW, it broke as I tried to bend it. Any idea how close I can place the re bar on a 20 foot arch? Rather than start over I am think of using a gray 3/4 inch pipe and place on the inside were the two 10 foot pieces meet?

I ordered retro replacement bulbs for my C-7's. About 250 in Red, Blue and Warm white. The blue are red are outstanding especially the blues. I have the blue c-7's agong my rood ridges and they look much better than lat years 5 watt bulbs. I don't have enought warm white up to make a opinion.
-
Has anyone experienced C-7 Retro bulbs not working? I have found a few and just started installing lights.
-
I received the last of my order from Travis yesterday. There were mistakes but he made everything correct. I was able to contact him on his web site.
-
I ordered about 300 strings and 600 bulbs in Feb. Got a shipment in Sept 25% wrong. Looks like the boxes were mismarked. I was able to return them, got two shipments last week and I am about 99% there. Still need 125 C-7 Blue retros and I will be 100%. I think having your own business is very hard. My sister in law has a picture on the wall " If you think natural child birth is hard, try owning your own business". I am sure Travis has learned a lot from this experience.
