I have reached the outer limits of what my power capabilities can handle. 256+ channels of blinky flashy WOO HOO!!!!
  1. I appreciate you both. I am going to troubleshoot by swapping the two chips and triple check the cat5 cables. If need be I will contact you and maybe you could mail them? Let me know and thanks again.
  2. Happy Thanksgiving!!!! I really wanted to have my show up and running tonight but I have run into quite a snag. I think I need (2) ST485BN and a H11AA1 optocoupler. My darn board won't transmit outgoing data. I am going to try and put it at the end of the chain. However, if you live in the Tampa area (I am in Tarpon Springs) and have them it would be easier for me to come and pick them up. Let me know Thanks!!!
  3. Wow thanks for all the help. The wire untangle job wouldn't work the plugs I have are for SPT-2. Plus there is a severe time crunch this time of year. The Lowe's idea is a solid one and I have contacted for receipt images. Thanks case solved and closed. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

    Spt-2 wire

If anyone in the Tampa Bay area has about 250' feet of SPT-2 wire they could sell me I would appreciate it. I would pick it up. Thanks in advance!!!
  5. Just seeing if anyone can help me out before I go to the store. I am trying to rewire a few wire frame deer I acquired. The lights on them were actually all cut up but the wire frames are pretty nice. Let me know if you can help me out. Thanks

  7. 36" tomato cage and 23.5' string. Take the string fold it roughly in half and zip tie it to itself. Make it about 12.5' long (it won't be even) then string it up to the top and then down the back. I think that should work for length. Where the legs meet at the top (looks like stakes of a tee pee) I figured you could make it to form a cradle to channel the strings through. Still I think just a pole with the strings holding it up (since it's just 36") may be a easier option. Check this out this good tutorial http://www.landolights.com/main/content/view/81/39/
  8. How about a standard shipping box? The big one runs $14.50 see how many you can stuff in one. If it is reasonable then I'll take them all!!!!!! Lights are hard to find here during christmas and I work an awful shift (7pm to 7am). Nothing was left after christmas so I have a wait and see what I can find when they first come out.

    Strobes

Hey is there a chance of getting the strobe deal again this year? That was an awesome deal (the sockets and everything for a great price). If not as a group any info to contact the vendor on an individual basis. Thanks looking for 40-50 more strobes this year.
  10. The camera signs are available at Harbor Freight (Smile Your on camera Video surveillance equipment in use). Mrs. Bumble approved the price point so they must be a bargain. Plus they sell IR detectors and fake cameras. I was pleasantly surprised.
  11. I am going to start a Yahoo! Fantasy Football league. It will be called the Blinky Flashy FFL or the BFFFL. The ID# is 810526. The password is blinky flashy. It will be a online draft but you can set it up to auto draft if you aren't available. The time will be September 5th at 9:00 pm.
  12. What is the string length? I would be very interested in any and all LEDS due to my lack of amperage left in the house.
