  1. Here's a grid we did....you can raise it with blocks. http://www.lindsaylights.com/Technical/roof_grid.html
  2. It's nothing special to program...just takes a bit of time, like all programming does. The dimension are 10' by 22.5'. Of course, it eats a ton of channels....
  3. Thanks! Actually, that one isn't an Ikegami...it's a Toshiba IK-6400A camera with 2.8-12mm lens.
  4. Thanks Richard. Having less lights isn't always a bad thing I guess, it simplifies things a bit and makes certain aspects of the show easier to see...... And you're right about the extra controllers...i couldn't just let them go unused for a season..... The webcam is an Ikegami 1/3"CCD CCTV camera with 2.8mm lens on it. It's a low light unit.
  5. Hi there, Nope, this is not Galaxia....though that looks cool. It's 120 channels powering 8400 LEDs. And it's not easy doing text! Martin
  6. Hi Richard. You had a great display this year! We too are in the same shoes. For us, this year's display barely happened and once again, we find ourselves wondering what we'll do for next season, if anything at all. Good luck with your decision. I know where you are coming from. Martin

  8. Hi Everyone, Thanks for your interest with this. A number of factors led us to decrease the show size this year, much of it being the huge amount of traffic we have to deal with. Last year we hired police to help out and managed, but as any display grows, it gets busier each year. Out of all the feedback we've received (thousands of emails, etc.), we've only had ONE negative response from one neighbour. The ironic thing is my other neighbours disagree with him and even want us to expand to their yard...you can see one of our neighbours' reactions on this video: http://lindsaylights.com/V
  9. C7 bulbs still for sale. Reduced price to $1 per box of 25. http://classifieds.planetchristmas.com/index.php?a=2&b=931
  10. Ok, all (12) red C9 sets and bulbs are sold! Still have (3) C9 sets and bulbs for sale.
  11. It's a very well used song and yes, you will getresponses such as,"you mean like that guy's house on the Internet?" I think it's one of the best songsfor synching lights to, but in my opinion it's, as you put it,trite and overdone. However, that being said, most of the people visitng your display probably haven't seen another live show using that song and will very much enjoy it. As with everything you do to your display, you make the decisions!
  12. Excuse me if this has already been asked/answered, but who Manufactures these LEDs? Thanks

  14. There'sare 3maps on the wessite: http://www.lindsaylights.com/contact.html We just loaded our new videos today.
  15. We priced out a system like that for a 30'x16' roof. Including LEDs, controllers, power supplies, etc. you'd be looking at well over $14k USD. Very cool stuff, but not very effective under an inch or more of snow if you live in colder regions such as us.
