  2. Just curious how many segments everyone uses on their Mega Tree. Last year I divided mine up in 16 segments and just used clear. I'm looking at adding green and red for this year. I noticed that alot of you guys divided your Mega Tree into 8 sections. I'm debating on doing this; as this will cut my controller cost in half. Looking forward to everyones thoughts.
  3. We do a Light o rama display for charity (local food banks). This is my first year at attempting a 96 channel mega tree. Would appreciate if anyone is willing to share pieces of their favorite parts of a mega tree sequences to give me ideas of what to do. Any other hints, suggestions or sequence ideas you would like to pass along again would be greatly appreciated! You can email me at [email protected] Thank you! Keith A. Shaw Cranbury NJ
  4. Can anyone recommend the anchoring system from Christmas Light Show found here? http://www.christmaslightshow.com/Mega-Christmas-Tree-stake.html . Based on the price, it may be cheaper than what I have found just to get the guy wires. Thanks in advance, Brian
  5. Well I was sitting around trying to come up with some ideas for some left over lights I have. I came up with an idea, but I don't have enough channels to do it, so I'm throwing it out to the world to try. My mega tree is ring is elevated due to uneven ground. I use the Zip ties that have a hole mount. That way I can leave the zip ties attached to the PVC year around, and speeds setup. The thought was to take the ring, and make it flat leaping arch, where you could still access the mounting hole on the ties. Just a crazy thought I haven't seen anywhere in action.
