My wife is Russian. She was having a Nutcracker themed Christmas party on Dec 3rd. My 10 yo twin boys asked if we could surprise her with some yard Nutcrackers. We couldn't find any plans that were exactly what we wanted. We took two 12" nutcrackers and created the two 9 foot nutcrackers you see here: http://www.meighan.net/nutcrackers/ All materials are from Home Depot. legs 6" PVC pipe arms, 4" pvc pipe Head 7 sheets of 2" styrofoam glued together and shaped with a belt sander. 2" foam from Home depot comes in 4x8' sheets Torso is 6 plywood discs. 4x19" diameter, (2) 17" diameter. 4
