My 2017 Halloween display for a house I just bought this year. The living room and porch lights are controlled by an Allen Bradley SLC5/04 PLC, which is controlled by a SLC5/05 PLC that controls many home and security functions. The kitchen window is controlled by a SLC5/03 PLC. All PLC's are controlled by a computer and a Windows tablet running AdvancedHMI applications. The start & stop times and days can be changed, along with enabling and timing of specific items. -

Display of my LR window for Halloween. Runs on the same Allen Bradley SLC5/05 as my LR Christmas lights. The run from October 15th until the 31st. The upper strings that change color can have the timer changed by 2 PC's and a Windows 10 tablet running AdvancedHMI. The spider web has 2 spiders that don't show too well unless you get really close. I have a few timers sequenced to make the web flicker to look like what I think the bad electrical service in a haunted castle would do.© none

Here are my House Layouts any suggestions idea's Comments, am i going too big to fast - 64 channel's Expected LOR. and might find other RGB Controllers but as for now i am going with 64 Channel's LOR Halloween Idea Christmas Idea Fourth of July Idea -
What does everyone think about handing out flyers to trick or treaters coming up for halloween? Is it a good or bad idea? Anybody else do something similiar?

I'm getting my Halloween show put together, and running LOR on it for the first time. I will be getting it started on the first of Oct. with a little luck. My question is should I run the LOR every night of Oct. or just weekends, or maybe even just on Halloween or a few days before? I have the show set up so I can either run with or without LOR at any given time so days LOR is not running the rest of the show still can, just n dancing lights and music. Thank you in advance for all the help.
