Looking for some ideas or photos based on other peoples "command centers". I personally set up my show laptop and controllers in my garage. Its been.... interesting.... getting everything set up. So this year I have decided to build some dedicated mounting, shelves, outlets, cabinets, etc... so that I can more easily set up the computer part and not have to worry. Anyone else have a similar "command center" type set-up? I would love to see photos or have some people share their set-up lessons learned and what not. My current plan (no particular order): Install old cabinet (sideways), remove door and drill holes on both sides. Laptop in here, run power in one side and cat5 out the other Install outlets- I need more! and I need them in a move convenient place. I currently have 2 controller boxes with plans for a third next year, so I am installing at least 3 new dedicated outlets... LOR box mounting... place them next to the previously mentioned cabinet so I can easily run cat5 Big picture (left to right) Outlet 1 power-> laptop cabinet -> outlet 2 ->box 1 ->outlet 3 ->box 2 ->outlet 4 -> box 3 -> garage cord exit (cat5 is running from cabinet to all boxs) (box outs run out the garage ... obviously)
