Male and Female. Many things have changed since I began using LOR back in 2008. The best change I made was installing a new 200 amp panel and 3 exterior sub panels. 2010‘s electrical updates proved that 20’ is the exact length for my connections from the LOR to the display item. As I found myself using a 15’ + 6’ SPT cords to make some of the longer connections I thought, “maybe I can cut down the old cords I purchased for 2008.” My first year, I purchased 15 each 100’ 2 wire exterior extension cords from Lowes. I do not use these since they are too long. I also have maybe 20 of the 100’ orange 3-prong extension cords as well. I’d like to purchase the male and female ends and cut these down to size as well. Last year, I purchased 10 sets from Lowes at $1.69 each. This is GREATER than the cost of 1 regular price 15’ SPT extension cord from Lowes. I’m sure some of the PC members here have done this. So, what I’m looking for is the best price (hoping for well under $1 each) + shipping on a bulk purchase of both 2 and 3-prong replacement ends. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I have just over 20 feet of 6 Gauge UF-B 3 conductor + ground wire for sale. $25.00 will take it - it's brand new left over from a recent power run to my new garage (it runs $2.35/foot from the local electrical supply house). Thought I heard someone say that they were looking to add a remote distribution so I thought I would list this. I'm pretty sure I can get this in a USPS Priority Medium Flat Rate Box so shipping would be $11.50 (I add delivery confirmation) anywhere in the Continental US. For those not familiar with UF wire: the acronym "UF" is the designation for "Underground Feeder". This is a Really Durable wire as it is meant for direct burial in the ground without conduit and has a BEEFY extruded jacket. 6 Gauge UF wire can handle 55 amps per conductor so it can handle some juice. PayPal works - contact me off list if you're interested. Brian
