Been shopping for extension cords lately? Ouch!
Then there are the times when you need a two foot cord and all you have left is an ugly 100 foot orange one.
There’s got to be a better way. Oh wait… there is!
Take a tip from the pros. Use lamp cord and ‘vampire plugs’ to make your own custom length extension cords.
Why are they called vampire plugs? Inside each plug are two teeth that pierce the insulation of the lamp cord. Place the lamp cord in the plug, slide on the cover, the teeth make contact with the wire and presto, power where you need it. No over-the-top decorator has a tool bag without a few vampire plugs stashed inside.
The not-so-good news is vampire plugs aren’t stocked by your big box stores. Thank goodness for the Internet. Order a bag of male and female vampire plugs now. Start at www.VampirePlugs.com
